In these terms, Shortprint, we and us mean the business operating shortprint.cards and the league app at fbfl.shortprint.cards. You means whoever is reading, whether you are a commissioner buying a Season Pass or a manager tapping a link your commissioner sent.
The registered legal entity behind Shortprint, and an address for formal notices, will be named in this section and in the footer of every page before anybody is charged. Nothing on this site takes payment today, so nothing here is asking you to contract with a company you cannot look up.
Reaching us about anything in this document: hello@shortprint.cards.
2 · What a Season Pass buys
One Season Pass covers one league for one season, draft night to draft night, at $12 a manager counted at the start of that season. The commissioner buys it. It is not a subscription, it does not renew on its own, and no manager in the league is ever charged for anything.
The pass covers everything the league uses: importing your history, minting the set, the packs your managers earn, the binder, the checklist, the display Case, trades on the Wire, and the commissioner's desk. There is no second product, no upgrade and no per-feature charge.
Nothing physical is part of the pass, because nothing physical is being made yet. A printed pack for draft night and a champion card in the post are not in production and are not promised for the 2026 season. If they become real they will be costed and shown on the price before anybody is asked to pay for them, and we will not quietly fold them into a number you already agreed to.
3 · What a card is, and is not
A Shortprint card is a record of something that happened in your league, held in your league's app. Holding one means the app shows it as yours and other managers can see that. That is the whole of what it is, and it is genuinely the point.
A card is not:
- Property you can sell. There is no market, no resale and no listing. Cards move between managers by trade inside a league and in no other way.
- Money, or worth money. No card has a cash value, can be redeemed, cashed out, converted or withdrawn. We will not buy one back and neither will anyone else.
- An investment or a security. Nothing here appreciates, pays out, or is offered on the basis that it might.
- A wager. Packs are earned from what happened in the league. Nothing is staked and nothing is won from anybody else.
- Buyable. There is no way for you or anyone to purchase a pack or a card, which is a rule about us as much as about you.
If any of that ever changed, it would be a different product with a different name, and you would be told rather than discovering it.
4 · Your league's data
Your league's results are yours. We read them from the host you name in order to build your league's cards, and for nothing else. We do not sell them, pass them on, or use them to train anything.
A league's cards are visible inside that league. A manager can choose to share a single card's link outside it — that is what makes it postable in a group chat — and that is the manager's decision, not ours.
The form on this site stores nine fields, each one named with the reason it exists, on what we keep. There is no cookie, no analytics profile and no IP address kept. Mail us from the address you used and your row is deleted the same day.
5 · Names and likenesses
The cards are about real people who know each other, which is the reason they work and the reason this section exists.
Any manager can decline to be printed. Tell us or tell your commissioner and that manager comes off the set — no reason needed, no questions on the way out. If a manager asks us directly we will act on it and let the commissioner know it happened, not who asked.
A commissioner who signs their league up is telling us they have the standing to do that for a group of people who know each other. If somebody in your league objects, they win — our answer is always to remove the card.
6 · What belongs to whom
Yours: your league's name, your club names, your managers' names, and the results they made. We claim nothing over them and we use them to make your cards.
Ours: the Shortprint name and mark, the card designs, the artwork, the set structure, and the software. You are welcome to screenshot any card and post it wherever you like — into your group chat, onto a timeline, anywhere. That is what it is for. What you may not do is sell it, or use our artwork to make something that competes with us.
Shortprint is not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by Topps, Panini, Fanatics, the NFL, the NHL, Sleeper, Yahoo or ESPN. Where those names appear on this site, they appear to describe what we are not, or which host your league runs on.
7 · What you agree not to do
- Sell, auction, or offer a card, a pack or an account for money, or arrange payment outside the app for a trade inside it.
- Run a betting pool, a market or anything that gives cards a cash value.
- Sign up a league that includes people who have said they do not want to be on a card.
- Break into, scrape wholesale, or overload the app, or use somebody else's invite link.
- Upload content into a league that harasses somebody. A league is a private club and the commissioner is responsible for it, but we will remove things and close leagues over this.
8 · What we promise, and what we do not
We promise to run the thing carefully, to tell you what is built and what is not on what is built, and to answer mail from a real person.
We do not promise the app is available every minute, that a season imports perfectly the first time, or that nothing will ever go wrong. Shortprint is provided as it is; there is no warranty beyond what the law where you live gives you anyway, and nothing here takes those rights away. If we break something that matters to your league, the remedy we intend is to fix it or to refund the season, not to argue.
9 · Ending it
Nothing is charged until a league is actually printed. If we never print yours, for any reason, you owe nothing and there is nothing to cancel.
A Season Pass does not renew by itself. When the season ends, the set closes and becomes that year's archive series. Nothing a manager earned is taken away as a punishment for a league not coming back.
Two things in this section are not settled yet and are listed as open on what is built rather than answered here with a sentence we might have to withdraw: the refund position for a season already under way, and exactly what a league that does not renew keeps access to. If either matters to your decision, ask us before you buy and we will answer in writing.
We can end a league's access if it is used for something in section 7. We would talk to the commissioner first in every case except one that puts somebody at risk.
10 · Changes, and the law
These terms will change as the product does. When something changes that affects what you pay or what you get, we will mail the commissioners it applies to rather than quietly editing the page and changing the date.
The governing law and the place where a dispute would be heard follow from the registered entity in section 1, and will be named here at the same time. Neither can be stated honestly before then, so neither is stated.

Ask about any line of it
If something in here would stop your league signing up, that is worth a mail. We would rather change the sentence than lose the league to it.
